Sapporo Sewerage Science Museum

A science museum that teaches visitors how sewerage works in a fun way and allows them to become familiar with the water environment.

The Sapporo Sewerage Science Museum aims to teach grade school students and their families how sewerage works. The “Submarine Aqua Tour,” a 3-D video that shows how sewer water becomes clean and is returned to rivers, and the “Submarine Driving Game,” which allows players answer questions as they follow the route to the water treatment plant, provide a fun and educational experience. The museum teaches children to think about the water environment through sewerage system.
