Shin-Sapporo Winter Festival 2023

The snow slide and other attractions at Fureai Square Atsubetsu and Science Museum Park will open for the first time in 3 years. Visitors can also enjoy the small snow sculptures and snow candles. It is fun in the snow for the whole family!

A “Winter Photo Contest” will be held as well! A variety of pictures can be submitted, including shots of people playing winter sports, spectators braving the cold, snowmen and sculptures, families cozying by the fire at home, hot delicious foods, freezing blizzards, or frosty landscapes just to name a few.
