SCARTS×SIAF Lab. Winter Exhibition 2023 “Winter, Snow, Etc!”

The Sapporo Cultural Art Community Center SCARTS and SIAF Lab, often experiments with new ideas for the SIAF (Sapporo International Art Festival). They have been collaborating together since 2018 to push the boundaries of winter creativity especially using the media and technology. This year is the fifth annual winter exhibition, with its main experience-based attraction themed around the frosty power of Mother Nature, including blizzards in Sapporo, snow plow operations around the city, and snow disposal yard data. The exhibit will also introduce advanced research and development by northern companies who are working together with NoMaps.
