Hitsujigaoka Snow Park 2023

Enjoy Playing on the White Snowy Field

Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill, about a 30-minute drive from central Sapporo, is a popular sightseeing spot where visitors can enjoy the food and scenery, including a statue of Dr. Clark, the pioneer Hokkaido development. The lively winter event, “Hitsujigaoka Snow Park 2022,” will be held at this site again. There are many fun zones where even young children can enjoy the Sapporo winter, such as tube sliding and snowman making!

Create Your Own Snowman!

In the “Mini Snowman” activity, visitors are encouraged to create their own snowman using special tools. Decorations, such as scarves, are also provided, so let your imagination run free! And once finished, pose with your snowman for the perfect winter photo-op too!

Ride and Slide Through the Snow!

Let’s enjoy the popular tube slide! There are two types of rubber tubes available: one for solo riders and another for 2 people, so parents and children can slide down together. Also, be sure to check out the snow sliders that even small children can enjoy!

Shall We Take a Photo Together in a Snow Hut?

At this venue, “Kamakura” snow huts are built for everyone’s enjoyment. Don’t forget to take photos so that you can bring home your winter memories here!

Enjoy Cross-country Skiing with Sapporo in the Backdrop

Cross-country skiing with a view of Sapporo city is also recommended. There is a short course so even beginners can give it a try. For your convenience, skis, shoes, and poles are all available to borrow free of charge!
