Experience wakasagi (Japanese smelt) fishing on the Barato River, which is about 40 minutes away by car from Sapporo. If it is your first time, professional guides will help give you tips on how best to catch the small fish. Optional set plans include meals and transportation from Sapporo, so be sure to check which one suits you best.
All the equipment necessary (fishing tent, rods, traps, bait, ice scoop, bowls, chairs, warm pants, boots, etc) are all available for rent, so please inquire in advance.
Whether it is your first time or need your memory refreshed, professional fishing guides will assist in giving you a lesson beforehand.
