Check out breakfast at this cafe restaurant featuring vegetable dishes and sweets adored by women
Cafe Yoshimi is an authentic cafe restaurant run by Yoshimi Katsuyama, who is known for creating the popular Hokkaido souvenir rice crackers called “Curry Curry Mada Aru?” The restaurant’s toast set with homemade sausage and soup is only served at breakfast. Starting from lunchtime, you can enjoy a wider menu selection, including omelet rice, curry, pasta and vegetable dishes. The most popular of these is their omelet rice, which is even available in a child-sized portion for the kids. The restaurant’s specialty sweets are also out of this world. Check out the pancakes and soft serve ice cream made from thick and rich Hokkaido milk. Cafe Yoshimi is located on the first basement floor of the newly opened Akarenga Terrace, which is in front of the Former Hokkaido Government Office (red brick building), a popular tourist spot. The cafe serves everything from breakfast to dinner, so feel free to start or end your day exploring Sapporo here.
